Health Guarantee

At Pawfect Retrievers, we are committed to providing you with healthy, well-cared-for Golden Retriever puppies. Every puppy purchased from us comes with a 30-day health guarantee, ensuring your new companion is free from illness or health concerns at the time of sale.

Health Guarantee Details

Within ten days of bringing your Golden Retriever puppy home, you must take them to a licensed veterinarian for a full examination. If your vet determines, within these ten days, that your puppy is clinically ill or has passed away due to an injury or illness contracted before the date of sale, you have the following options:

  1. Return the puppy for a full refund
  2. Return the puppy for a replacement of equal value
  3. Keep the puppy and receive reimbursement for reasonable veterinary fees, up to the purchase price

These options apply only if no pre-existing health issue was disclosed at the time of sale. If a health condition was disclosed in writing by the breeder with an official veterinary certificate, these guarantees will not apply for that specific condition.

Congenital or Hereditary Defects

If a licensed veterinarian finds, within 30 days of purchase, that your Golden Retriever puppy has a congenital or hereditary defect that adversely affects their health, or if the puppy dies due to such a defect, you are entitled to the same options outlined above.

Important Notifications

You must notify us of the veterinarian’s findings within two business days, providing the vet’s name, address, and phone number. Failure to do so may forfeit your rights under this health guarantee. We encourage you to familiarize yourself with your state’s specific puppy health laws, as guidelines may vary.

Puppies Purchased from Other States

While each state may have its own laws regarding health guarantees, Pawfect Retrievers offers at least a 30-day health guarantee for all puppies purchased, regardless of state. Should your state have a longer mandatory health guarantee, that law will take precedence.

Extended Genetic Health Guarantees (When Offered)

In some cases, we may offer an extended guarantee covering any condition determined to be of genetic origin through proper veterinary testing. This guarantee does not cover routine veterinary care, costs incurred from injury or illness caused by owner negligence, or accidental injury. Proper documentation is required to request compensation under this extended guarantee.
